Lutheran Campus Ministry at Penn State

Biking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. On a bike, I have found connection with creation; exploring nearby fields and forests as a child, riding through farmland during my college years, biking trails with family on vacations, making time for daily rides over the past 25 summers. As a mom, I’ve tried to teach my children the importance of caring for the world around us. As a campus minister, I regularly invite students to care for and pray for creation. As a person of faith, I believe we are called to protect the earth and tend the health of all creation. This responsibility falls to all of us, across various faith communities. I am looking forward to biking this spring to help support PA IPL’s work to mobilize religious response to climate change.
